About Me
Biography
Chloe is a sophomore from Bucks County, PA studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. Her interests include mathematics, architectural and robotic design, sculpture, and pottery. She hopes to use all of her skills and interests together to both design and construct innovative designs that will make the modern world more efficient and environmentally friendly. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, she plans to work for a company with the same objectives of efficiency as she values, or possibly even starting her own business that does so.
As a College Park Art Scholar Chloe plans to explore the many forms of art there are through a Capstone project that will be completed by the end of sophomore year. She hopes to teach a workshop to art scholar freshmen that focuses on exploring and understanding the art that goes unnoticed or underappreciated. Arts scholars has taught her that art is a broad term that deserves to be understood fully, and she hopes that this workshop will help others understand what she did not. She plans to continue to expand on all of her interests by joining clubs that will support them like Women in Engineering. Her goal is to continue to expand on her understanding of art and design and hopes this will prepare her for a bright future in engineering.
